BORN, WARRINGTON
Born at home, grew up in the middle of nowhere. Rick moved at the age of 2 to Lincolnshire, appreciating the rural upbringing and his dads teaching background. With only a few career options available, he went into a grammar school and studied classic British curriculum.
FIRST MOVE AWAY FROM HOME
As an 18 year old, Rick moved away to complete a work placement as an engineer. He found it hideous to say the least.
MISTAKEN UNIVERSITY COURSE
The degree in engineering was an educational path heavily influenced by Rick’s teacher, which only led towards a realisation that engineering was not his passion.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
Broadening the mind by taking an open ticket to Miami on a foggy November morning, Rick discovered what it really means to be limitless and strive towards your ambitions.
ECONOMIC RECESSION TAKES OVER
In 1991, Rick returns to the UK struggling to find light under the economical recession and secure a career opportunity.
STARTING AS A SUPPORT ENGINEER
Exposed to the city of London in mid twenties, and scaling his way into the financial institution, Rick realised how his desire was geared towards the sales sector.
CLIMBING THE CORPORATE LADDER
Late twenties revealed that Rick did not strive towards a goal built on a PLC company. Too corporate, too rigid, and thus maverick entrepreneur mindset began.
DAY 1 AS AN ENTREPRENEUR
In 2003, first foray into business. Starting on a rainy day at Portobello market selling space invaders t-shirts, his first business idea was about to unleash into the bustling streets of London.
